How did Shattered Dynasty Emporium come to be?

 

Well, ‘Shattered Dynasty’ was supposed to be my band name, but I was never good enough at playing drums and the only other member was a massive weirdo, so obviously didn’t stick with that for very long. 

 

It’s a bit of a story of how this business came to be and oddly enough I’m pretty sure it started with Cardcaptors. I would draw the outfits and design my own, so I decided I wanted to do that. Then they’d have these amazing dessert shops and I decided I also wanted to run a dessert shop/coffee shop because I like baking & creating recipes anyway. Then they would also have these awesome toy shops with plushies too, so I decided I also want a plushie shop with accessories. So far all I’ve gotten from these is the accessories part, but the plushies are being designed. As for the outfits, I’m not sure where they come to play into it, maybe for dolls? I have to make some for my daughter anyway. The dessert/coffee shop is going to be part of my first shop when I get a brick & mortar one so it is definitely still in the plans.  

 

I started off properly as ‘Shattered Dynasty Jewellery’ and though it may not look like it, jewellery is still my main focus. Then after I started adding in other things like foil prints & crochet it became ‘Shattered Dynasty Miscellany’, then I switched it to emporium when more different things came along as it more fit the description. 

 

I have a long list of things still to come so I appreciate every customer who has ever bought/buys in future from me as you are helping me to reach those goals and support charities along the way.
